Janina Monkute-Marks museum-gallery realizes a project which was sponsored by the American Embassy in Lithuania, called “Colorful USA in the middle of Lithuania”. The aim of the project – to introduce the colorful America through the tolerance to different cultures and types of art. 

Creative Competition. We organize the creative competition in which we invite students from the schools in Kedainiai District to participate. The competition theme is an artistic  interpretation of the Indian and Amish communities Arts. Works influenced by authenticity and color-gamma of these cultures and created by students will be exhibited at Janina Monkute-Marks museum-gallery. Authors of the most beautiful works will be awarded prizes.  Later the exhibition will be on display in other organizations of Kedainiai City, and, ultimately, with the help of collaborative relationships – moved to America. We do hope to move the exhibition o the Mitchell Museum of the American Indian, which is located in Evanston, Illinois, USA.
