Romualdas Rakauskas (Kaunas, Lithuania),
Stasys Padalevicius (Kedainiai, Lithuania),

Five photographers participate in the exhibition. All five of them present their works on the same theme of Humanity. Each artist has his own unique understanding of time and place. The way of life, the character and the state of people, the human relationship with nature are the themes of interest. The analysis and the efforts to understand other human beings help us to reveal our own essence. It seems that each photographer tests himself and checks the genre’s possibilities. However, each of us is predestined to see the world in a different way. A. Macijauskas, R. Rakauskas and R. Požerskis, St. Padalevičius are the experts of the psychological portrait and the situation. They are known authorities in the Lithuanian art of photography. The artists have earned a lot of international awards. Their earlier works were acquired by the museums, galleries and private collectors. Kėdainiai residents are offered a perfect opportunity to get acquainted with a small part of the big creative heritage. Photographer V. Bečelis has a comparatively smaller experience. His works reveal and express the feelings of this genre and the life nowadays.
