The Exhibit of Kaunas International Fine Bone China Symposium "Idea" was presented at Janina Monkute-Marks Museum-Gallery. This bone china collection reflects art tendencies of the three-year symposiums. These works reveal the variety of themes. The exhibit "Visions" by the celebrated Lithuanian primitive artists Stefanija Katkevičienė (1926-2006) and Petronėlė Gerlikienė (1905-1979) was presented at the Museum. The artists took the artistic path being middle-aged and already living in the city. Both of them very sensitively feel the colours, however, they also totally ignore realistic proportions. In the summer of 2006, I was fortunate to have had the chance to travel for a month in the grasslands of Eastern Tibet.
