Photography exhibit of “HUMANITY“
Participating photo artists:Aleksandras Macijauskas (Kaunas, Lithuania),Romualdas Pozerskis (Kaunas, Lithuania),Romualdas Rakauskas (Kaunas, Lithuania),Stasys Padalevicius (Kedainiai, Lithuania),Vydas Becelis (Kedainiai, Lithuania).Five photographers participate in the exhibition. All five of them present their works on the same theme of Humanity. Each artist has his own unique understanding of time and place. The way of life, the character and the state of people, the human relationship with nature are the themes of interest. From 1931 Kaunas Art Accademy, Ceramic Arts Department was independantly persuing its research and Studies. In 1960 Vilnius National Fine Arts Department and Kaunas Textile and Ceramics Dep. merged. The Kaunas Art Institute is part of Vilnius Fine Arts Accademy. Students can earn bachelors and masters degrees in ceramics. The faculty consists of active creative artists, who are constantly exhibiting in Lithuania and internationally. They are constantly striving to perfect their art.
