Annual synoptical exhibition of Vilnius painters COLOURS OF FREEDOM is dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Lithuanian Nationalist Revival. On March 3, 1989, Lithuanian National Awakening (since 1990 – Lithuanian Nationalist Revival) was officially registered as an organization. September 25th, 3:00 pm at Janina Monkute-Marks museum-gallery was organized an educational event and meeting with a teacher from Vytautas Magnus University - Jaq Greenspon. He is screenwriter and actor who has worked for more than 10 years in Hollywood. October 1st, 4:00 pm at Janina Monkute-Marks museum-gallery was organized an educational event and meeting with young and talented Lithuanian animator - Meinardas Valkevicius. He presented a brief history of animation history, including well-known Lithuanian artists. Dalia Minkeviciene-Jazdauskiene – the winner of the Cultural Prize of Kedainiai Region
Kedainiai District Municipality organized the celebration in Kedainiai Multicultural Center. Mayor Rimantas Diliunas from Kedainiai District Municipality awarded a prize for the implementation of new and original forms of cultural activities, cultural educational work with the inhabitants of the region, especially with young people, as well as their active participation in cultural activities.
